The 45W MagSafe 2 Power Adapter features a magnetic DC connector so if someone should trip over it, the cord disconnects harmlessly and your MacBook Air stays put safely. It also helps prevent fraying or weakening of the cables over time. In addition, the magnetic DC helps guide the plug into the system for a quick and secure connection.
When the connection is secure, an LED located at the head of the DC connector lights up; an amber light lets you know that your notebook is charging, while a green light tells you that you have a full charge. An AC lead is provided with the adapter for maximum lead length, while the AC wall adapter (also provided) gives you an even easier and more compact way to travel.
Designed to be the perfect travelling companion, the adapter has a clever design that allows the DC cable to be wound neatly around itself for easy cable storage.
This power adapter recharges the lithium polymer battery while the system is off, on or in sleep mode. It also powers the system if you choose to operate without a battery.

Knowing which specific Mac model you have is important. If you are running OS X Lion (10.7) or later, go to the “” menu at the top left of your screen, choose “About this Mac” then click the “More Info…” button. Your Mac model and generation will be displayed.
If you are running an earlier version of OS X, you can enter your serial number here to find out which model you have.
Next working day delivery applies to orders placed before 3pm, orders placed after 3pm will arrive the following day.
Our working days are Monday – Friday (excluding Bank Holidays). Due to the order cut-off time of 3pm, if you place an order for next-day delivery after 3pm on Monday, it will be processed on Tuesday, and arrive Wednesday. Similarly, if you were to place an order for next-day delivery with us after 3pm on Friday, or over the weekend, we will process this on our next business day (Monday), and it will be delivered on Tuesday.

Returns
If you’re not happy with your product or simply change your mind, you must provide us with notice of cancellation within 14-days of delivery. You can notify us by emailing hello@wearesync.co.uk. Once you notify us of your intent to return, simply return the product with the original receipt, in its original and sealed packaging, along with its included accessories to us. Once you have informed us of your intention to return an item/items from your order, you have a further 14 days to return the item/items to us. Sync is not obliged to refund your purchase until the goods have been received into our warehouse and checked.
When you return the goods, please use a tracked delivery service and make sure you have appropriate insurance cover, as we will be unable to refund missing items or items that have been damaged in transit. Return carriage charges are not covered by Sync. Our 14-day cancellation policy also applies to any additional unused services you may have ordered.
We will contact you upon receipt of the returned items to arrange the refund. If you paid for carriage during the ordering process, we will refund your carriage cost at the base value of £6.95 only, regardless of whether or not you paid an additional amount for expedited, special, or scheduled deliveries.
Your refund will be made within 14-days after the item has been received.
Please note that you may not return the following, except in case of defect or lack of conformity:
- Any device that has been removed from its original packaging
- Devices that have been personalised (such as engraved)
- Devices that have been purpose built / tailor-made (such as a Mac with a custom configuration – e.g. additional RAM)
- Software licenses and/or electronic software downloads
- Software products that have had their seal broken
- Services that have been used (such as setup, migration, and configuration services that may have been purchased and carried out whilst purchasing your new Mac)
- In-ear headphones that have had their seal broken
Please do not deface the retail packaging of the product as this may affect the resale value of the product and the value of your refund.
