Apple Intelligence: Available in beta on all Mac models with M1 and later, with Siri and device language set to US English, as a macOS Sequoia update. English (Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, South Africa, UK) language support will be available in December 2024. Some features and support for additional languages, like Chinese, English (India, Singapore), French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Spanish, Vietnamese and others, will be coming over the course of the next year.
Display: Screen size is measured diagonally. Actual diagonal screen size of the 24‑inch iMac is 23.5 inches. The displays on the MacBook Air with M1 chip and the 13‑inch MacBook Pro measure 13.3 inches diagonally. The displays on the 13‑inch MacBook Air with M2 or M3, the 15‑inch MacBook Air, and the 14‑inch and 16‑inch MacBook Pro have rounded corners at the top. When measured as a standard rectangular shape, the screens are 13.6 inches, 15.3 inches, 14.2 inches and 16.2 inches diagonally (actual viewable area is less).
Colour Availability: iMac 24″ colour availability may vary.
Up to 6x faster than the most popular Intel-based iMac (21.5‑in. iMac, 2019): Testing conducted by Apple in September and October 2024 using pre‑production 24‑inch iMac systems with Apple M4, 10‑core CPU, 10‑core GPU and 16GB of RAM, as well as production 3.0GHz 6‑core Intel Core i5–based 21.5‑inch iMac systems with Radeon Pro 560X with 4GB of GDDR5 memory and 8GB of RAM, all configured with 256GB SSD. Tested using Super Resolution with Photomator 3.3.23 and a 4.4MB image. Performance tests are conducted using specific computer systems and reflect the approximate performance of iMac.
Up to 2.1x faster than iMac with M1 chip (24-inch iMac, 2021) on demanding creative workflows: Testing conducted by Apple in September and October 2024 using pre-production 24-inch iMac systems with Apple M4, 10-core CPU, 10-core GPU, 32GB of RAM and 2TB SSD, as well as production 24-inch iMac systems with Apple M1, 8‑core CPU, 8-core GPU, 16GB of RAM and 2TB SSD. Adobe Photoshop 2024 v25.11.0 tested using the following filters and functions: sharpen, find edges, blur more, diffuse and content aware scale. Performance tests are conducted using specific computer systems and reflect the approximate performance of iMac.
Mac and iPhone: Requires iCloud and internet connection. iPhone Mirroring is available on Mac computers with Apple silicon and Intel‑based Mac computers with a T2 Security Chip. Requires that your iPhone and Mac are signed in with the same Apple Account using two‑factor authentication, your iPhone and Mac are near each other and have Bluetooth and Wi‑Fi turned on, and your Mac is not using AirPlay or Sidecar. Some iPhone features (e.g., camera and microphone) are not compatible with iPhone Mirroring.
Wi‑Fi 6E: Wi‑Fi 6E available in countries and regions where supported.
Up to 70% faster performance on everyday tasks (compared to 24‑in. iMac, 2021): Testing conducted by Apple in September and October 2024 using pre‑production 24‑inch iMac systems with Apple M4, 10‑core CPU, 10‑core GPU, 32GB of RAM and 2TB SSD, as well as production 24‑inch iMac systems with Apple M1, 8‑core CPU, 8‑core GPU, 16GB of RAM and 2TB SSD. Tested with a selection of tasks using Microsoft Excel v16.88. Performance tests are conducted using specific computer systems and reflect the approximate performance of iMac.
Storage: 1GB = 1 billion bytes and 1TB = 1 trillion bytes; actual formatted capacity less.

Touch ID: Magic Keyboard with Touch ID is included with iMac (M4) systems with 10-core GPU, iMac (M3) systems with 10-core GPU and iMac (M1) systems with 8‑core GPU. It is available as an option on iMac (M4) systems with 8-core GPU, iMac (M3) systems with 8-core GPU and iMac (M1) systems with 7‑core GPU.
